Do You Know The Truth?

Do you know your own value?

Do you REALLY know how special you are?

You are truly very special and whether you know it or not
I’m going to make sure you do by the time you finish reading
this email.

You see . . .

If you’re reading this email you’re NOT an ordinary person
and I hold you in the highest regards because of this.

Let me explain . . .

In daily life, whether you are now living the life of your
choosing or not you hold something inside of you that the
others don’t and you will always be more successful and live
a more full and joy filled life than they every will because
of it.

You choose to dream.

You choose to hope for more out of life.

You close your eyes and you see something better than the
current situation and you KNOW it’s possible and you reach
for it.

Why are you reading this email?

You are a network marketer and you dream of success and you
dream of prosperity and you want to learn how to attain it.

You’re here because you’re playing offense.

You saw a problem and you actively sought out a solution.

You didn’t wait for someone to spoon feed you the solution
or go and solve it for you, rather you proactively sought
out the solution yourself.

Do you know how special this makes you?

Most people wait to be told what to do so they don’t have to
think for themselves.

You didn’t, you independently sought a solution to creating
wealth and prosperity through network marketing because you
dream for more out of life.

(If you are aware of the Stephen R. Covey’s “7 habits of
highly successful people” this is Habit #1 and the corner
stone of ALL success.)

You’re NOT greedy.

You don’t dream of these things because you think they will
make you a better person or because you must have the
material wealth that they bring.

In fact, the exact opposite is true.

You WILL attain prosperity and all that comes with it
because you have the courage to have a dream AND you take
action on it.

You dream despite what they say.

THEY tell you you’re crazy.

THEY tell you it’s not possible.

THEY tell you you’re just wasting your time.

THEY tell you that you’re just going to end up broke.

And then . . .

They watch to see what happens.

So that if you hit a hurdle THEY can say “I told you that
would happen.”

THEY offer no help.

But you know why . . .

You know they say these things because they’re too scared to
dream themselves.

They live life passively.

They play the game of life on defense.

They get a job and wait for someone to give them a raise.

You play the game of life on offense.

You go and find a way to create your own raise.

You want to help the world by creating and spreading value
to and for others.

They want the world to create value for them so that someone
will give them a deal.

Do you now see the difference between you and them?

I do?

Here’s what’s funny to me.

Why do the same people that tell you you can’t achieve
something in life quickly forget all of their critical
remarks and shower you with praise when you do achieve
your dreams and then ask if you could teach them how to
do what you did?

Funny how things work out right?

All I want to let you know is that you are here because you
are a dreamer.

Your dream gives you power.

Your dream makes you a leader.

Your dream gives you freedom.

Your dream insures your success.

Lead and they will follow.

You are my inspiration. You are my fuel. You give me
courage.

And . . . I thank you for it.

What success did you follow?

Today I got a great question from Lee Benson so I wanted to
get to the nitty gritty of it and share the answer with you
as well.

Lee asked simply:

“What success did you follow?”

Great question, simple, and to the point!

===Focus Point===
I’ve learned that leveraging the knowledge of someone
who’s been where you want to go is invaluable down the path
to your success. Not because it will tell you exactly what
to do, but because it will lead you down the right path and
give the the valuable opportunity learn through experience.
My experiences thus far have brought me true freedom in
life at the young age of 26 and have pushed me to take even
greater leaps than I ever thought I could be a part of. I
offer you the opportunity to use me as your stepping stone
down your own path to success.

==================

Here’s the skinny . . .

When I first started network marketing I got into my first
REAL opportunity after buying an information product called
“Network Marketing in the Internet Age” by a guy named Frank
Garon.

Man did I love that product! It cost me $97 which I didn’t
really have at the time, but the chain reaction it’s caused
to this point has been invaluable. It was an 8 cassette audio
program which talked about adapting your network marketing
business to the internet. I must have listened to that thing
40 time in the span of a month.

I would put in on before I went to sleep at night and let it
play while I dreamed away and then when I woke up in the
morning I would pop in the next tape. I think I kept going
like that for about a month or so straight.

I was so impressed with what Frank was saying after that
time I mustered up the confidence to give the guy a call to
really get to know the guy behind the information.

I wanted to do whatever he was doing and I let him know it
as soon as I got on the phone with him.

I jumped into his business and got a game plan for success
following his advice.

I was so excited the second I got off the phone I called my
girlfriend at that time and told her I had finally talked
to that “guy” that I had been listening to compulsively for
the last month.

She was excited for me and so it began.

I got into network marketing, unfortunately not the type of
internet network marketing that I had envisioned, but full
of excitement and anticipation I pushed forward anyways.

What Frank referred to as internet network marketing was
actually more buying leads online and calling them. (Not
what I call Internet Network Marketing, but what did I know
at that point?)

So I called these leads day in and day out for about 7
months spending mucho cash all along the way.

And you know what? I didn’t get one person to join my
business!

It sucked, but the lesson learned was just because one way
of doing business can work well for one person it doesn’t
mean it’s going to happen for me.

Meanwhile I noticed that one team in that Network Marketing
company was outperforming all the rest by about 20X.

I wanted to know what the heck they were doing!

The team was lead by a young lady by the name of Anna Ahira.
She had set up a duplicable system online for her team and
it was working like crazy!

I called her and her perspective on doing business was much
much different than Frank’s. She used systems and marketing
to attract the right people, not just brut force like what I
was taught to do and for it her team was growing at
breakneck speed.

I wanted to jump ship bad! But I didn’t want to let Frank
and his team down, so I went back and fourth on it for about
a month and at the end of that period I had made a decision.

I called Frank full of guilt and told him that I was moving
on.

He said . . .

“No problem bud, maybe we can hook up in the future.”

Not the answer I expected after toiling over what to say to
this I guy I put so much confidence and belief in.

But he surprised me.

And I’ve taken this as a lesson learned and draw from that
experience to this day in my business. People come and
people go in network marketing and we as sponsors can’t
loose sleep over someone else’s business decision.

So when people leave my business I never take it personal, I
jut focus on those that are there and give them my all.

But back to the story at hand . . .

I quit Frank’s team, but my decision was not what you
probably think it was. It was not to join Anna’s team. Rather
I stopped all together to formulate my own game plan for
success.

For the next six months I researched what Internet marketers
and network marketers were doing and how they were creating
success.

What systems where they using and why?

Then I filtered this against what I wanted out of my business
and came up with a blueprint for my success.

I didn’t know if there was a business out there that matched
my blueprint, so I knew I would eventually have to either
find one or create my own system if I was going to do this
network marketing thing my way.

Luckily I found the right business for me.

I jumped in . . .

Had some early success.

I mean just imagine what it would feel like after 7 months
of being beaten down in the cold calling game sending out an
email and immediately sponsoring 12 people that day without
saying a word to them.

Pure heaven.

I knew in my heart that there had to be a better. I set a
game plan to prove it. I then tested it and my research had
proven correct!

So it was time to become the leader the strong leader that I
knew network marketing success required.

I went to school and I’m still in class now . . .

What I mean is I started listening to the stories of other
successful network marketers and successful entrepreneurs to
focus my actions in the right direction.

People like Jim Rohn, Earl Nightingale, Brian Tracy, Les
Brown, Jack Zuefelt, T Harv Ecker, and Robert Blackman to
name a few.

If you saw my CD collection you’d probably think I’m a
personally development nut.

Guess what?

You’d be right!

Heck if it helps me be a better me I’m doing and doing it
big time.

The leaders at my company took note of my success. I reached
out to them and they extended there hand.

I can say that I am good friends with all of the leadership
in my company at this point and I actually contribute
regularly to the overall development of the company, in
fact, I’m actually the head Internet Marketing trainer for
my company at this point.

I definetly don’t say this to toot my own horn. It took a
lot of personal growth on my part to even get myself on the
phone on a weekly basis with 100s of people on the line to
listen to rant for an hour.

But . . .

I didn’t reach out to the leaders for these opportunities.
Truth be told I just wanted to know how they did what they
did and now to this day they are some of my biggest role
models for success. ( Whether they know it or not.)

Lee. to make a long story a little shorter.

Ever person that I’ve been exposed to as a leader in the
industry I’ve pulled as much as I can from.

There are to many people who have contributed to what I’ve
been a part of for the last year and a half to name them all.

There are success to be found in every success you have, but
to be honest by biggest leaps have been made after huge
failures. So all the heartache and hassle your business may
seem to give you at time, there’s a silver lining if you
just stick to your guns and have a clear vision of why
you’re doing what you’re doing.

More Than Meets The Eyes . . .

When it comes to making money from home online or off there
is definitely more to it than appears.

There are things that you can do that will waste your time
and there are things that you can do that will not.

I spent a lot of my first year online doing those things
that waste time. In a sense this was important because it
was only from that experience that I learned how not to
continue to do those things and finally make some headway in
this confusing home business arena.

Here are some of the things that I learned in that first
year that will definitely help you avoid some of the
trouble that I went through.

===================

Number 1:

If it looks to easy than it probably is.

What I mean by this is there are lots of offers out there
that are very very appealing at a first glance, but in the
grand scheme of things can prove to be complete time
wasters.

One of the first things to learn online is if it looks to
easy and the benefit seems to be mythical in stature, then
most likely the outcome of your involvement in these
endeavors will prove only to waste your time money and
effort.

You’ll be left confused wondering why IT didn’t work.

I’ll tell you right now why it didn’t work.

It didn’t work because they lied to you.

All they wanted was your money.

Be wary.

Number 2:

The MOST important thing that I learned online was to make
an efficient use of my time with doing what does work.

People often get caught up in trying to do way to many
things at once because of the abundance of opportunities out
there.

While many are great and will prove profitable, after taking
note of what I said above, you will really have to
discipline yourself to choosing one thing that works and
focus all your energies and effort towards.

You don’t want to spread yourself thin. If you try to do to
much at once you will only meet with both mental and physical
anxiety and exhaustion.

Choose one thing and be the best at the one thing that you
can possibly be.

Number 3:

Make sure that one thing pays you residually.

Why put your effort into promoting something that is only
going to pay you once?

If I’m going to put my hard earned effort and time into
something then it’s going to be something that pays me many
times for putting in an initial effort.

Following this advice above after learning it the hard way
I’ve managed to earn more than a full time income in less
than a year.

Just sharing one product with people.

It’s the simple things that work the best and the advice
above is very simple.

Follow it and you will find your time and money freedom I
guarantee.

What Does It Mean?

Network marketing can be a tough business and it’s not the
fault of the systems we use to grow our business or the
companies we choose to represent, rather it’s tough because
no one teaches you how to interpret the results we generate
from our promotional activities.

===Advertisement===
You can keep following the status quo and do what they
do or you can make the decision to step out of the box and
run your business according to the way you WANT to run it.
The Internet is the most powerful median to leverage your
opportunity to a worldwide audience and here’s your key to
unlocking it. http://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/?af=385500
===================

What I mean by this is, most of us that come into this
industry come in full of hope and desire for more in our
lives, but with little to no experience in running a REAL
business, so we tend to interpret the things happening in
our business through the our past experiences.

Our J.O.B. experiences . . . Which is WRONG!

That is when you go to work for someone else you know what to
expect. You put in a 40 hour week and you know you’re going to
get paid your going rate for that 40 hours of work no matter
how productive you really are.

This is good in that there is little to no risk in this
situation, except if you slack to much you may get fired.

But it can be bad because this thought construct CANNOT be
carried over successfully to an entrepreneurial situation
and it doesn’t allow for true personal and financial
limitless growth like network marketing or owning your own
business does.

In the beginning, it’s true you could be putting in 60 hours
a week cold calling leads and getting little to no results
for those efforts, but for those that stick it out and reach
a plateau of success, there’s the other more appealing side
to the coin.

Once you have an organization growing under you can take a
month off and still get paid the same amount or more than
the previous month because you’ve built equity into your
business in your organizational growth.

That’s true freedom, and if you haven’t experienced it yet
let me tell you it’s worth all the heartache and struggle
you go through to get there.

But you can’t get there thinking about your network
marketing business through the same mental lens you think
about your J.O.B. because it will only lead to frustration,
confusion, and failure.

For instance . . .

What if you put in 40 hours of cold calling or my fortay
internet marketing into your business in the next week and
generate no financial gains from those efforts?

If you think about the situation through your J.O.B. mental
lens you’ll probably say.

“Man this sucks! I’m paying my way for everything that I’m
doing and I haven’t made a cent. If this doesn’t start
making money in the next month or so I might as well quit
and get a part time job, because at least then I know I’m
getting paid for my time.”

This is well and good, but to think this way would decrease
your overall personal time freedom and you would be leasing
your life out to someone else’s business.

Further, this would lead you down a path of trying to prove
to yourself your business can’t work.

What I mean is you’ll stick to the script and the plan given
to you by your upline just long enough to prove to yourself
your system or your product doesn’t “work”.

Not what you want.

But if you look at the situation through the proper lens,
the entrepreneurial lens, you’ll approach the situation from
a total different perspective and you’d be able to ask the
right question to improve your current business.

You’ll say . . .

“What I’m doing right now doesn’t seem to be providing my
most wanted outcome, now I know someone in this business is
making it happen in a big way, what are they doing? What am
I doing differently from them that’s stopping me from
progress? Finally, how can I change what I do so that my
business produces the results that I want in a way that I’m
excited and enjoy doing?”

That’s an enterprenurial mindset.

Do you see the difference between the two perspectives?

The first only takes the situation at face value and does
not attempt to push for real improvement and the second
looks deeper into the current situations for possible
solutions and improvements.

The same situation, yet vastly different thought patterns.

One will get you success in network marketing and one will
have you quiting your business in the next 3 months.

My only point is this . . .

In your business the things that happen be they positive are
negative are only such because of the way you perceive them.

Change your perception and you WILL change your business.
